Florida Sportsman Dreamboats Needed
One Man’s Dreamboat.
Be the envy of the sportfishing world: Show off your customized fishing boat in Florida Sportsman Magazine.
The editors are on the hunt for next season’s subjects for our long-running, popular department, One Man’s Dreamboat. Through the year, we’ll be profiling private owners who have customized boats for a particular fishery. The emphasis is on fishing accessories and modifications—not just general boat upkeep or rebuild.
We want to showcase the best of Florida anglers’ ingenuity and creativity.
Maybe you have a boat, or know someone who does, that’s been tricked out for a favorite species, whether it’s a skinny-water poling skiff for bonefish, a family-size river boat for seatrout, a go-fast bass boat, or a long-range bluewater battlewagon for spring marlin action. Surprise us.
Send a few pictures, and a short outline of your story, to the editor, Jeff Weakley, at .jeff@floridasportsman.com You might soon see your boat profiled in your favorite fishing magazine.
For an example, check out the story on Steve Giallanzo’s 23 Grady White in the October 2008 issue of Florida Sportsman.
And look for the December 2008 issue—due on newsstands later this month--for a sweet skiff from Southwest Florida.
