DREAM WEEKEND
By, E-money, 11/9/08
I had one of the best week-ends you could ask for. Golfcane will tell the Bahamas tale, but here is what went down Sunday.
Woke up at crack of ten, and couldn't find anyone who would fish me. Finally got Seppo and Lindus to hop on and it was GAME ON. Nice blue /green edge in 90' w flyers getting showered & boobies & frigates on the feed !! For bait The boys had some speedos & runners in pen & we got a half dozen gogs on way out. First bait out on the flat get smoked immediately & Lindus is tight & gets clean release. In the interest of protecting the fish we like to leave them in the water & send them on their way none the worse for wear & tear. Get the kite up and turn around, Lindus is on the flat AGAIN. Seth missed a fish on Long Kite, and Lindus got tight AGAIN on flat and bite was going OFF. We fished for about an hour and a hlf and had eight bites, got tight on seven, and 4 clean releases. Back home at 2:00 drinking beer feeling IRIE & smiling as I put the hoo steaks on grill & queens in fryer. >>Forum Thread & More Photos

PHINS AND SAILS
By, iriesoul, 11/5/08
We had odd charter today. A company chartered 6 or 8 boats from Stuart to take out there 40 or 50 top sellers. All the best in town were out. We went 3 for 5 on sails and nailed 8 nice dolphin. We also had 1 king and 2 cudas. Great day on the water. Boy was our charter happy! What a great day! Made some nice $$$ too!
Bit rough early on with seas in the 4-6 foot range... Calmed down a bit on the afternoon. Tons of life out there. Weeds all over the place! I normally do not like to take sails out of the water but this was their first and who knows if they will ever have a chance again. This was the first time offshore for all of them...We burned through almost 3 dozen baits today! >>Forum Thread & More Photos
EARLY SAILS
By, Marauder1, 10/26/08
Slipped out for a quick drift late this afternoon with some friends...had good north current and a nice 15-20mph NNW wind and the ugliest silty green water I have seen in a long time. Threw the kites up in 130 and prospected for a while, not much doin. Slid in a little to 110 and got tight on fish #1, got him on the leader pretty quick and wound up breaking him off. Got the spread back out and the girls quickly got tight on fish #2 as he inhaled the bait less than 10 ft behind the boat, that was pretty sick... Fish got double teamed and the release came pretty quickly. Fished for another 30 and called it as the sun passed behind the buildings... Nice quick trip, always good to see people catch their first. >>Forum Thread & More Photos
BRIDGE HOPPIN'
By, HookinSnook, 10/16/08
Went bridge hoppin this early a.m., netted some hand picked Mullet and off i went . First spot NADA. Second spot a shorty and nothing after that. Third spot, YES I FOUND THEM!!! The Snook were poppin here and there so the first Mullet i dip in the water, BOOM!!! Im on with a nice keeper that went 29 inches. Into the cooler it went. Next Mullet i dip in the water gets nailed by a bigger one that went 32 1/2 inches. Took a pic and let her go to fight another day. After that, i was done. There were a few people there but did'nt catch anything. I think they were mad at me for letting the 32 incher go and walking away with a keeper. Enjoy.... >>Forum Thread & More Photos
