LOTS OF EAST CENTRAL ACTION
By Rodzilla, 02/21/10
Finally we caught a break with the weather and decided to make the best of it. After the last trigger trip we figured we couldn't go wrong trying that again. There is not much finer eating then a trigger in my opinion. We headed north with a nice ocean, but a bit chilly. First spot is lit up like a Christmas tree and you know the rest. We couldn't keep them off the hooks...

WINDY DAY
By des1802, 02/06/10
Went fishing in South Brevard with my best bud Pete. We fished the leeward side of spoil islands and found a little cove that gave us some protection from the wind. The trout were stacked up on the shoreline but very lethargic and spooky. We managed to pull a couple out on live shrimp.

COOL WEATHER COBES
By FireDawg, 01/30/10
Set out a little late with Docked Wages, Waterproof, and Joe. Found our first ray in 67 degree water to the south and the rest was history. Must have had 2000 casts off the boat. Every 15 rays we saw one had cobia on it. They were a little finicky and we went 5 for 8 on some nice sized fish. Good day for sure and even better in January.

PORT CANAVERAL WAHOO
By hoo's up, 01/29/10
A call Thursday evening from long time friend and fishing buddy, Ron Pachter, telling me of his 70lb wahoo caught off the cones, and a great weather prediction, prompted a last minute decision to play hookey from work and go on a wahoo hunt Friday. Ron had to rub in his catch by sending me this pic. He caught this on a SOLO trip with his boat just inside of the cones. I can't imagine what the end game was like with him being alone. Good job Ron.
