The Doves are Coming, the Doves are Coming!
FWC dove club special opportunity hunt permits still available.

If you have the urge to swing a shotgun this fall, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) still has remaining Dove Club Permits for special-opportunity dove fields statewide.

Permits are available for Caravelle Ranch in Putnam County, Hilochee in Polk County, Lake George Dexter/Mary Farms Unit in Volusia County, Parker Road in Alachua County, and Schneider Farms in Escambia County.

Permits can be purchased at any county tax collectors office or online at MyFWC.com/dove or by calling 1-888-HUNT-FLORIDA (486-8356).

Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and allow one adult and one youth under age 16 to take part in all scheduled hunts for a designated dove field (up to 8 days). The half-day hunts cost $150 and allow the permit holder and youth hunter to take a daily bag limit of birds.
